this is surprisingly cute. and completely apt for our generation; probably 75% of the crushes/relationships i’ve experienced have been mediated through some manifestation of online social networking - AIM, livejournal, myspace, facebook, et cetera. my first girlfriend in middle school knew me primarily through AIM chats; my first (read: ONLY) girlfriend in high school developed a crush on my livejournal persona; my first girlfriend in college met me through myspace and facebook. this is probably more a reflection of my poor social skills, but still, it’s pretty fascinating.
I saw this on Today’s Big Thing and was super prepared to hate it. Too bad I was surprised by the sweetest thing Ever.
