i’ve seen a whopping zero of the best picture nominees. the only one that genuinely intrigues me is slumdog millionaire, which, of course, has not yet hit  bloomington. thank the lawd awmighty that the dark knight didn’t get a best picture nod. i was incredibly annoyed when everybody tried to treat it as more than just a fairly well-produced summer superhero action film.
